Savoy Timber Ltd is committed to protecting your privacy. Any personal information we collect will be used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and other applicable laws. In this Privacy Policy references to "we" and "us" are to Savoy Timber Ltd.
Any information collected such as email addresses, postal addresses and other information will not be shared with other parties and will be used only for processing your order as necessary.
Any images used on this web-site are for visual aid only, although we endeavour to make all items appear to their best likeness, you may get a better representation if you can call into one of our branches and see the items for yourself. In particular, the sparkle effect worktops are shown with a manufactured flash image, this is purely to give the general effect given by the worktops and is not an exact likeness of them, the sparkle effect is most prominent as light changes angles on them. We will not be held responsible for misinterpretation of colour or size based on an image shown (samples are readily available by post). Many of the items have an image showing more than one of the item and possibly with other linked items in the image, this again is for representation purposes only and the price shown is for one number of the item described only, unless otherwise stated.
We have given each item a general price, this price is for one unit (unless otherwise stated) of the variations of that product, not necessarily all of them. We have used drop-down boxes to give the various options for a number of our items, if there is no price in the drop-down box this means that the item is priced as the main item price per unit shown. Any mention of imperial measurements is purely for customer guidance only and are always approximate.

Delivery
Where applicable, postage and packing charges will be added to your order, these can be found in the checkout process.
All items must be checked on delivery. Any delivered items which have not been thoroughly checked must be signed for as UNCHECKED as we cannot accept any notification of damage if the goods have been signed for in good condition (signing the delivery note means signing for in good condition unless unchecked is also written). Any notification of damages must be within 24 hours of delivery.
Where the item is in stock, we will endeavour to process your order and dispatch it via the fastest possible route. Local deliveries will be dispatched from your nearest depot. For (non-North-West) mainland
We do not offer overseas delivery.
Where products with different availabilities have been ordered, you will be notified of those products which are not in stock and given an estimated delivery date. In such cases your order can be split into more than one delivery (this may incur an additional delivery charge), however you will be notified of this and given the choice to wait, and proceed only when all items are in stock. We do not except any liability for delay between items if orders are split and an unforseen problem occurs. We strongly recommend that all items in an order are received before any fitters are booked in as dates given on out of stock items are only estimates based on supplier information and are out of our control.
We only accept liability for a missed delivery for up to a maximum of the value of the delivery cost.
Our couriers drivers may occasionally ask for assistance with off loading your order. This is not obligatory and if the person accepting the delivery is not capable we will re-deliver when possible by another means (further charges may apply). To fulfill the terms of the cheaper delivery for branded worktops, a *capable person will possibly be needed to help with offloading the delivery. Please state before ordering if it is not possible to have a person capable of assisting present.
*The judgement of capability of a person to assist with a delivery is the responsibility of that person, if at any point that person feels that they are not capable or may struggle we will re-arrange the delivery by another means at an agreed time and cost or will agree to cancel the order for a full refund if this cannot be done satisfactorily.
Stock Levels
Savoy Timber are committed to giving our customers the best service possible, so we carry large stocks of many many items however it is not possible to have every prduct in every size in stock at all branchs. We generally deal directly with the manufacturers/importers of products so will have the shortest lead times available for non-stock items .
Refund and Returns Policy
All goods must be checked upon arrival for defects, damage or unsuitability. We will not refund any payment if the goods have been fitted by you or your tradesman prior to you discovering a fault, please check before any work is carried out on your items, commencing work will be considered as acceptance of goods regardless of who commenced the work. All damages or shortages must be expressed to us in writing, preferably by e-mail within 48 hours. We may also require photographic proof of faults/damages.
Due to the nature of kitchen worktops in that the laminate surface can be scratched easily, any returns MUST be in their original packaging or other suitable packaging. If this is not done we reserve the right to reduce/cancel the refund amount or charge again for a replacement.
CANCELLATION RIGHTS: you have a right to cancel, it expires after 7 days, starting from the day after you have received the goods in question. However, this does not apply to goods made or altered to your specification, i.e. special order or bespoke items. The aforementioned goods are non-refundable, goods must be returned by you the customer at your expense in the condition they were received. Cancellation must be in writing, email preferred. You must take reasonable care of the goods. Refunds will be processed once the goods have been inspected upon their return to check they are received back in the condition they were sent out.
Any work carried out on goods is taken as acceptance of those goods, no claims will be considered under such circumstances unless it is a manufacturing fault which could not be visible before the aforementioned work commenced.
Goods ordered by a customer that we deliver correctly according to the information given by the customer and then returned or refused upon delivery will be subject to an administration and restocking charge of 20% (variable at our discretion).
Our liability shall be limited to the original purchase price of the goods & will not include any incidental costs and/or works and/or charges applied by any 3rd parties. We reserve the right to replace or repair at our option.
Delivery charges will not be refunded where the customer has ordered the goods incorrectly. In such cases if exchange of goods is required we will charge again for delivery at the full rate. Any goods needing to be returned through customers fault will be returned entirely at the customers risk, any items damaged during return will not be refunded.
Technical Errors.
Due to the nature of internet sites and the possibility of technical gliches and errors we reserve the right to cancel/alter any orders that have been ordered at an incorrect price or size through admin error.
